Blok ‘N’ Mesh, is the UK’s premier manufacturer, supplier and installer of temporary fencing and hoarding products.

Supplying the construction and allied industries, Blok ‘N’ Mesh is dedicated to providing confidence in the quality and service of our products to all sectors of the industry.

Family owned and family run, the Company ethos has always been based on fair and ethical trade.

Our Company Mission Statement is as follows: –

1.  Purpose

This policy establishes our commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance principles and supports compliance with legal obligations and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 26000 principles.

2.  Scope

Applies to directors, employees, agency workers, contractors, suppliers and business partners.

3.  Our Commitments

We will comply with applicable legislation, protect the environment, safeguard people, uphold human rights, act ethically and continually improve performance.

4.  Environmental Responsibility

Reduce energy consumption, reduce emissions, minimise waste, prevent pollution, improve recycling, support biodiversity where practical, and promote sustainable procurement.

5.  Climate Change

Establish carbon reduction initiatives, monitor environmental impacts and support efficient use of resources throughout operations and the supply chain.

6.  Social Responsibility

Provide a safe workplace, develop employees, support wellbeing, encourage diversity and inclusion and contribute positively to communities.

7.  Equality Diversity and Inclusion

Provide equal opportunities and prohibit discrimination, harassment or victimisation.

8.  Human Rights and Modern Slavery

Respect internationally recognised human rights and maintain zero tolerance toward slavery, trafficking, forced labour and child labour.

9. Health Safety and Wellbeing

Prevent injury and ill health, eliminate hazards where reasonably practicable and consult with employees regarding safety matters.

10.  Ethical Business Conduct

Operate with integrity and comply with anti-bribery, anti-corruption, competition and fraud prevention requirements.

11.  Data Protection and Confidentiality

Protect personal and business information in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

12.  Supply Chain Responsibility

Work with suppliers that share our commitments to legal compliance, sustainability, safety, quality and ethical behaviour.

13.  Customers and Quality

Understand stakeholder needs, deliver quality products and services and drive continual improvement.

14.  Governance and Accountability

Directors provide leadership and resources. Managers implement arrangements. Employees comply with requirements and report concerns.

15.  Objectives and KPIs

Set measurable objectives covering safety, environmental performance, training, customer satisfaction, waste, energy and compliance.

16.  Reporting and Whistleblowing

Employees are encouraged to raise concerns in good faith without fear of retaliation.

17.  Stakeholder Engagement

Maintain open engagement with customers, employees, suppliers, regulators, communities and other interested parties.

18.  Monitoring Review and Continual Improvement

Performance will be monitored through audits, inspections, risk assessment, management review and KPI analysis. The policy shall be reviewed at least annually.

This Policy Statement applies to all divisions and functions of the Company. It is approved and will be reviewed and updated annually by the Company Directors. Amendments will be made as and when necessary.
