Electrical Engineer

Location: Braintree

Salary:  £ 40k

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems and production equipment
• Work with PLCs, HMIs, and control systems for automation
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of machinery
• Perform root cause analysis to reduce downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards
• Basic mechanical knowledge

Requirements
• Diploma in electrical engineering
• 3+ years in manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience with PLCs 
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and safety standards

Responsibilities
• Respond to emergency machine breakdowns
• Repair or replace faulty components
• Conduct planned maintenance.
