3.5T Driver

Location: Witham  - 

Salary:  £15 P/H  - 

As a 3.5t driver you will be delivering goods to customers and collecting return hire stock. Loading and unloading will include mechanical and physical lifting. Drivers should be presentable and polite as you will be the face of the business out on the road.  

Key Responsibilities
• Daily vehicle check through Checkedsafe app, report any defects immediately so we can get them repaired promptly.  
• Strapping your load safely to ensure the load will not move during transportation. 
• Deliver and collect stock to your set route. 
• All delivery and collection paperwork to be fully completed and signed.
• Make sure the vehicle is always tidy and topped up with fuel ready for the next working day.
• Assist with yard duties, such as loading and unloading, stock organisation, and general support for depot operations when needed. 
• Comply fully with company & customer health and safety policies on site. 

Requirements
Essential
• A valid driving licence for 3.5T vehicles
• A professional and polite manner when dealing with customers
• The ability to carry out loading and unloading duties, including physical lifting
• A responsible approach to vehicle checks, load security and health and safety
Desirable
• Previous experience in a delivery driving role
• Experience with stock collections and return hire goods
